Are you ready for Single Touch Payroll?

Single Touch Payroll (STP) is a new way of reporting tax and super information to The ATO.

Using accounting or payroll software that offers STP, employers send their employees' tax and super information to The ATO each time their payrun is processed (eg. weekly or fortnightly).

The main benefit of Single Touch Payroll is to help employers streamline their reporting process to The ATO.

Larger employers have been using STP since 1 July last year, however it will be compulsory for all employers to use Single Touch Payroll from 1 July 2019.
